Municipal Courts are statutory courts of limited jurisdiction having responsibility for motor vehicle traffic violations, disorderly and petty disorderly criminal offenses, municipal and county ordinance violations, certain penalty enforcement codes, health code violations, fish and game, weights and measures and all other proceedings within the territorial jurisdiction of the municipality. Practice and procedures are governed by New Jersey Court Rules. The Municipal Court Judge is responsible for overseeing the administration of his or her Municipal Court.
Court is held every Thursday starting at 9:30 a.m. Violation Bureau hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Simply visit njmcdirect.com and enter your ticket information to see if your offense is eligible, and select the option for “Case Dispute.” Eligible traffic tickets will be reviewed by a prosecutor and you will be notified with his recommendation. To see if you are eligible to have your matter reviewed online, please visit: njmcdirect.com.
If your matter is not eligible for online ticket review, you can still request to have certain tickets heard in Roselle Park Virtual Municipal Court via the Google Meet Platform.
