Position Requirements: Must be a responsible, dedicated and organized. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to Word, and Excel are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, and Excel are required. Experience in municipal government is highly preferred. Experience with Munidex software and Action Data payroll systems is a plus; bilingual a plus.
Hours: Full Time: 35 hours per week; 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with 1 hour lunch.
Salary and Benefits: $21,000.00-$48,000.00 per annum. Health Benefits eligibility through the New Jersey State Health Benefits Plan; P.E.R.S. pension eligibility; Union position; other benefits may apply.
Key Responsibilities: A successful candidate will be responsible for recording cash receipts, posting tax and sewer payments, preparing daily deposits, preparing bill payments, and providing payroll assistance.
