Position Requirements: Must have strong leadership and management skills, including, but not limited to personnel and project management experience. Possession of a current and valid Certified Public Works Manager (CPWM) certification issued by the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs is preferred. Must be responsible, dedicated and reliable. Computer literacy and proficiency are required. Experience in municipal government is highly preferred; bilingual a plus. Must possess a valid New Jersey driver license.
Hours: Full-Time – 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; as-needed in the capacity of a Department Head / managerial executive.
Salary and Benefits: $48,000.00 – $100,000.00 per annum; PERS Pension; NJSHB Health Plans.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for effectively managing and guiding the Department of Public Works. The position entails planning, supervising and directing all aspects of public works including, but not limited to: daily work-orders, personnel, public buildings and grounds, parks, fleet maintenance, snow removal, and public works vendors.
